Cinematographer. Storyteller. Problem Solver.

I've spent more than 25 years working as a cinematographer and Director of Photography in Los Angeles, creating images for commercials, branded content, documentary, narrative and television.

​

That experience has taught me that cinematography is about much more than cameras and lighting.

​

It's about understanding the story.

​

Knowing when to move the camera—and when not to.

​

Knowing how light changes emotion.

​

Knowing how to work with directors, producers, talent and crews.

​

And knowing how to solve problems when the plan inevitably changes.

​

Today I'm based in Central Oregon, where I continue to work with production companies, agencies, brands and filmmakers throughout Oregon, the Pacific Northwest, Los Angeles and beyond.

Central Oregon brings something new to the equation: an extraordinary visual landscape and a different kind of storytelling environment.
